A short menu and a long line
We opened at Grand Central Market in 2013 with a counter, a wok and a menu you could read in about twenty seconds. The line went down the aisle most days at noon. That was the whole business plan, and honestly it still is.
Downtown taught us what people actually came back for: noodles cooked hard and fast, curry with the paste made in house, and someone at the pass who remembered your order.
Five neighborhoods, one kitchen brain
From that stall we grew into Echo Park on Sunset, West 3rd St near the Grove, and Highland Park on York. Venice on Rose Ave opens in August 2026. Each room looks and feels like the street it sits on, but the recipes travel together — same pastes, same stocks, same people training the line.
Behind the red curtain at Echo Park is Spirit House, our bar: island-inspired cocktails, Thai beers and natural wine, in the same building as the dining room.
Thai food we’d want to eat on our day off
Nothing here is dumbed down and nothing about it is precious. Pad thai and pad see ew because they are great when they are done right. Khao soi, boat noodles, pad krapow and papaya salad because that is what the kitchen eats at family meal.
Come in, sit down, order too much, take the rest home.
