About Us
Sticky Rice started with a craving, the kind that lingers late at night and leads to something real. In 2013, David Tewasart brought bold Thai street food to Grand Central Market, inspired by the vibrant flavors of his upbringing. It didn’t take long for Sticky Rice to become a neighborhood favorite — soulful, spicy, and impossible to forget.
A few years later, Bryan Sharafkhah rolled in with his pad Thai cart, fresh off a food-fueled adventure through Chiang Mai. He slung noodles to late-night crowds, eventually landing spots at Coachella and Ultra, serving thousands with just a wok and a dream.
David and Bryan teamed up to bring you Thai tradition, locally remixed. Now you’ll find Sticky Rice in Echo Park, Highland Park, and 3rd Street, each with its own vibe, all with craveable Thai food and good energy. Whether it’s cocktails at Spirit House or catching a show at The Goldfish, one thing’s certain: we’ll keep the wok hot and a seat waiting.
